A float tank is a large salt water bath designed to minimize
sensory input to the brain. The water is ten inches deep
with about 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt dissolved into it.
This creates such positively buoyant water that anyone can
fl oat effortlessly. The temperature of the environment is 94°,
which is skin-temperature neutral, neither warm nor cold.
There is an optional light inside, otherwise the tank
is wonderfully dark and quiet.
Floating gives the body a chance to heal itself and the mind a chance to organize itself!
Isolate has been proudly serving the community since 2012 and our staff have over 20 years combined in the float industry.
