Born and raised in the Rocky Mountains just outside of Boulder, CO, Sara Emmitt draws creative inspiration from the beautiful nature that she grew up in. Her music is a weaving of earthy poetry and moving stories of her journey through life’s winding river and the powerful lessons that it has presented. She is one half of the local sibling duo, The Emmitt Sisters, who just released their first album titled “Moon Over Mountains.” On her own, Sara offers audiences soulful melodies, uplifting messages and acoustic salve for the heart.
