Event Details

Facilitated by: Eyal Rivlin As the Israelites crossed over the Sea of Reeds into freedom, the first thing they did was break into song and dance. We can read about it, we can talk about it, and in this participatory evening we can experience it. If movement is one of your pathways to open the heart, express authentically, and experience liberation, then join this community of movers who pray with their body. Through simple guidance, engaging music, and plenty of space to find your own creative expression, we will dance our way from the limitations of Mirzrayim and narrow ways of thinking into liberation. Offered in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space - no previous dance experience is necessary, all are welcome! Bio for Eyal Rivlin Though born in the blistering heat of Israel's Jordan Valley, Eyal Rivlin's heart seems to spring from Renaissance Europe. His passion for celebrating music, dance, psychology, and spiritual growth led him from the Tel Aviv music scene on a pilgrimage of discovery through Europe and India to the United States, and a graduate degree in Transpersonal Psychology. Now, happily centered in Boulder, Colorado, Eyal inspires joy through teaching, performing, and facilitating events, playing with world fusion ensembles, and leading evenings of ecstatic song and dance. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Eyal builds bridges between cultures through his openhearted teaching style. While teaching in the Program in Jewish Studies at CU Boulder extensively for the last 8 years, Eyal’s students have described his teaching style as “inspiring, refreshing, accessible, creative, and engaging.”
